The research method in the field of education is called Action Research. Great educators always experiment with the opportunity of continued reflection on improvement with teaching and educating others. This is a method of collecting Information to explore teaching, curriculum development, and student behavior. Action research begins with hopes, dreams, and desires and it is carried out by a teacher, group of colleagues, or the entire faculty of a school. The process of action research contains seven steps. The concept of open educational resources is open licensing and the ability to reuse and remix content. These materials are for teaching or learning that are either in the public domain or have been released under a license that allows faculty to use them freely, change, and be shared with others. Modern education systems use technology to impart education and game-based learning, with technology advancement the educator needs to find ways to grab students’ attention and engage them through a variety of activities, surprises, rewards, and humor. The concept – Create a web-based single-layer online game for middle school students to learn similarities (synonyms) of the English language. Target audience – 8 years of age Reward – Total point collected playing all four questions correctly Desired outcome – The student will be educated of knowing more than one meaning of a word in the English language Instructional objective – The learner will be able to: Learn to focus and engage to pick the correct answer Receive highest no of point in one attempt. The fun of learning new similar words
Instructional Design – Classroom setup
This course is designed to demonstrate an understanding of facts and ideas of the seven stages of action research, by organizing, observing, reflecting, planning, and examination into various theories. The participant will recall, reflect and identify key areas that need improvement, solutions to complications or problems by applying acquired knowledge through facts, techniques, and rules through the present, past, and reflective practices. Instructional design course on Action Research design for a classroom setup through Articulate 360 incorporating the ADDIE model of instructional design framework.
Instructional Design through Canvas LMS
Instructional system design for a fully online course in Canvas Learning Management System. The course will be offered 100% online in an 8-week format using the Canvas Learning Management System through a standard web browser. Approximately every module will take up to 5 hours for reading, writing for discussion, and assignments through reflection and collaboration. Online materials will include, quizzes, readings, discussion forums, interactive lessons, video clips, and PDF documents. Students will complete online quizzes in Google forms. The students will submit their assignments in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. All students will participate, collaborate and progress simultaneously within each scheduled module.
Open offices have become the ever-present environment in modern companies. This atmosphere assures an office block that promotes collaboration, equality, and productivity. However often this environment does not contribute to productivity and many dislike this. This project presents the etiquette one must follow to build a friendly culture in an open office environment.
